Character Designs
My game is designed to be a Virtual reality stimulatory experience, so in that case the game will be in first person prospective meaning that the whole body of the main character will not be able to be seen, so I designed a few different parts of the characters body that would be visible from a first person prospective.
Arms
Here are a couple designs that I completed for the arms of my character. these will be the main thing the player notices during the game.

I wanted the hands and arms to portray the characters lifestyle so for example the hands are covered in cuts and bruises to portray the labouring job that he does as the character is factory worker so theirs a lot of heavy lifting.

The character also has Bite marks on his hand as I was looking about for what effect anxiety has on your body and found a story that someone shared on reddit along with an somewhat graphic image that showed the bite marks they had endured suffering from anxiety the image and story can be found her (I tend to bite my hands due to anxiety and this is what they look like after a shower. : Cringetopia (reddit.com))

The arms are muscular in design to show all the heavy lifting that the main character does.

Legs
Here are a couple designs that I completed for the Lower body and legs of my character. these will be viewed in game when the player looks down and sees there legs that could be mapped to their own legs depending on the VR headset they are using as some like the VIVE and Oculus track player movement .

I Decided to have the character being wearing dungarees as I had a look into work clothes in the 1920's and the most common mages that come up are like the image on the left that includes a man in dungarees.

I did a few leg designs where the character docent wear shoes and I feel like these better portray the hard working nature of his job due to his dirty feet as appose to some slightly creased and worn down workers boots

Non - Playable Characters
As well as only being able to see the hand and lower portion of their character due to the way VR works, which allows players to move in any way they want players could for example get right in a NPC's face. and look really close at that clothing and other accessories so this led me to design a couple of characters.
The first one below is the Boss/manager of the player who the players will see as there first dialogue encounter in the game. I designed this character to look intimidating and have a authoritarian presence upon the player character, which is why you can see I designed two possible faces, one with perfect hair, which maybe makes the character seem better than you and like he looks down on his employees and the other face design which I believe works bets for this character is an older gentlemen who is bald, which may show he is intimidating and still serves the military maybe due to the shaved head and also the fact that he is a muscular man may make the player character intimidated by his presence also.
The second character that I designed is a mental ward nurse, whom the player would interact with if throughout the game during dialogue they gave away to people that they may be suffering from an illness of the mind which would cause them to be taken to the mental health asylum where this character would be found. She is wearing a long white gown which was inspired by pictures I found of 1920's nurses which can be seen below, she's has a friendly face in order to calm the residents of the asylum.
