My Games Background Philosophy
This page explains my thought process for what philosophy my game design "NERVES" - A Story Of Anxiety portrays and why I think that.

Objectivism by definition is "Objectivism holds that there is no greater moral goal than achieving one's happiness." the opposite of Altruism which is the moral belief that ones mission in this world is too put others happiness above their own even at the expense of oneself.

I believe my game at least from narrative stand point echo's objectivism because The Character of Michael is looking out for himself throughout the whole of the game as his ultimate goal is too live through the week in his life without giving away to people that he is suffering from a mental health illness, so that he doesn't get taken away to a mental health ward.

Thus showing that the main character is an Objectivist as he is putting his own happiness and safety above others.
